These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to alveonbio.com and any order you place with Alveon. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1. Research use only
All products sold by Alveon are supplied strictly for laboratory research purposes only. They are not intended for human or animal consumption, not for use in diagnostics, therapeutic, cosmetic or food applications, and are not medicinal products. By placing an order you confirm you are a qualified researcher or acting on behalf of a research institution, and that you are at least 18 years old.
2. Eligibility
You may only use this site and purchase products if you can form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction and comply with all local laws applicable to the possession, handling and disposal of research chemicals.
3. Orders and contract formation
- Product listings are an invitation to treat, not a binding offer.
- Your order is an offer to purchase; the contract is formed once we confirm dispatch of the goods.
- We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including for suspected non-research use, sanctions concerns, or stock issues.
4. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices are shown in EUR and, unless stated otherwise, exclude VAT and shipping. Applicable taxes and shipping are shown at checkout. Payment is captured at the time of order via our payment provider. If payment fails, the order will not be processed.
5. Shipping and risk
Shipping terms, timelines and free-shipping thresholds are described in our Shipping Policy. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier's address you provided.
6. Returns and refunds
See our Return Policy. Due to the sensitive nature of research chemicals, returns are limited to damaged, incorrect, or defective items reported within the timeframe stated in that policy.
7. Product information
We take care to describe products accurately, including purity (≥99% by HPLC) and dosage per vial. Minor variations in appearance may occur due to lyophilization. Product images are representative.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, branding, logos, product photography and code — is owned by Alveon or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it commercially without written permission.
9. Acceptable use
You agree not to attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the site, submit false information, or use the products in a way that violates law or these Terms.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Alveon is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the products giving rise to that claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Alveon against any claim arising from your misuse of the products, including any use inconsistent with the research-only nature of the products.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the European Union member state in which Alveon is established, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Consumer protection rights that cannot be waived remain unaffected.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available at this URL. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
